Under Mayor Rahm Emanuelâ€™s plan, unveiled last week, city employees must enroll in a conventional medicineâ€"structured â€œwellness programâ€ to manage chronic health problems such as obesity, diabetes, and high blood pressure. Employees who do not participate in the program will be required to pay an extra $50 per month in insurance premiums for each family member covered.

The Chicago program includes â€œenhanced screening and wellness training to establish benchmarks and long-term goals, including weight loss, medication, exercise, and kicking the smoking habit.â€ A form of this plan appears in the healthcare reform act as wellâ€"which should be no surprise, as Rahm Emanuel was one of its chief architects.

So imagine this picture. Conventional medical doctors tell you to take your blood pressure medication, whether you think it wise or not, whether you want to try natural alternatives or not. And if you donâ€™t, you pay. Same for taking statins for high cholesterol, medications which many medical professionals agree are really dangerous to your health.

Preventive medicine is a hotly debated topic, as it should be. But for Rahm Emmanuel, itâ€™s one-size-fits-all. You had better have your blood sugar at a specified level, or you will be required to take highly dangerous diabetes drugs. At least they wonâ€™t fire you or put you in jail if you donâ€™t complyâ€"it will just cost you money. So far.

This kind of incipient medical fascism is mainly a gift to Big Pharma, and we can be sure that Big Pharma is cheering Emmanuel on.

Legalizing Euthanasia by Omission - And Making It a Doctor's Order

DENVER, Colorado, AUG. 24, 2011 (Zenit.org ).- A problematic new end-of-life medical form is rapidly gaining ascendency in U.S. healthcare. It is called the "POLST" document. (In my own state of Colorado, it's called a MOST document.) The acronym stands for Physician Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment. (MOST = "Medical Orders for Scope of Treatment;" its provisions are almost identical across states.) Click here to see an example of a standard POLST document.

The document consolidates on a single form provisions formerly dispersed over several documents: it acts as a living will specifying the scope of medical interventions a patient wishes in case of incapacitation; it makes specific provision for a do-not-resuscitate order (DNR); it has a box to check in the event a patient wishes to refuse treatment with antibiotics; and it allows a patient to designate a proxy decision maker.

Similar to other advanced directives, patients complete the POLST form when their capacities are in tact and the document becomes effective when consciousness is compromised.

But different from older-type directives, the POLST document has provision for the signature of a physician (or physician assistant). This gives the designations on the document the force of an actionable medical order.

The national trend, supported by Compassion & Choices (formerly the Hemlock Society), is to structure state laws on medical directives in accord with the POLST paradigm (as illustrated by its recent adoption by states such as California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, New York, Pennsylvania, Oregon, Tennessee, Utah, Washington, West Virginia and Wisconsin).

Why is the document problematic? I will speak from first-hand knowledge of the legislation that normalized the document in Colorado. I believe my criticisms are relevant to all POLST-type laws in the U.S.

The Colorado law (signed in summer 2010) abrogated an extremely important condition on living wills going back two decades. The former law authorized adults to direct medical professionals to withhold or withdraw life-support only on the condition that they were terminally ill (or in a so-called persistent vegetative state [PVS]). So for purposes of the law the refusal was conditioned by the fact that a patient was already dying. (The PVS provision was accepted under the false assumption that it was a terminal condition.) Forty-five percent of the states in the U.S. presently impose similar statutory limitations on the removal of life-support.

The POLST-type legislation removes the condition that a patient is terminally ill or diagnosed in a PVS before a refusal order is actionable. In other words, the new law permits any adult patient to refuse any treatment at any time for any reason in the event they lack decisional capacity; and health care professionals, directed by a doctor's medical order, ordinarily would be (and are) required to carry out the order. Although the law for strategic purposes is rhetorically formulated as bearing upon end-of-life medical decisions, it sets forth no requirement that a patient's refusal of life-support must be limited to end-of-life conditions.

If someone refuses life-support with the specific aim (or intention) of causing his or her own death, the person is choosing suicide. Morally speaking this is no different from ingesting a lethal dose of medication, or sitting in a running car with the windows closed and a hose stretching from the tail pipe to the cabin. "Why are you doing X?" If the answer is: "To die," then the person is intending self-killing, suicide, and that's always wrong.

But isn't it the case that terminally ill patients also can direct the refusal of life-support for purposes of bringing about their deaths? It is true, the condition of terminality does rule out the possibility that patients will be motivated by suicidal intentions when taking advantage of the liberties permitted by the older-type law. But in establishing the refusal of life-support in the context of medical conditions diagnosed as "terminal," the older-type law privileged as the normative context for refusing life-support the motive "to-be-free-from-burdens-in-my-remaining-days-of-life." Suffering from a condition from which one was dying, the law granted a person the civil right to refuse procedures that prolonged the dying process.

This is not the place to rehearse the ethical argument for the legitimate removal of life-support. Suffice it to say that until recently, common ethical opinion accepted the judgment that if some treatment was futile or excessively burdensome, then a person legitimately could refuse the treatment, even if its refusal promised the hastening of death. [Note: the procedure, not the life, is judged burdensome.] One intends to be free of the burden of painful, risky, or futile treatments during one's final days of life, and one accepts that one's death may be hastened as an unintended consequence.

The POLST-type law grants adults the civil right to direct healthcare professionals to remove life-sustaining procedures when those procedures are not futile and when the burden imposed by them would be offset by a reasonable hope of recovery. It juridically extends the ordinary context for the refusal of life-support to include the motive of bringing about death. Without using the term, the new law authorizes euthanasia.

This is not the only problem with the POLST model, but it's the most serious problem that the model introduces. Other problems, such as the document's provision for the removal of food and water from patients for whom they reasonably would be judged to be ordinary/proportionate care, or the simplistic designation, "No Antibiotics," whether or not such drugs are medically indicated, already infect older type documents.

When the Colorado Catholic Conference, which I assisted, was fighting (ultimately unsuccessfully) at the state capital in Denver to amend the POLST-type legislation before passage to reintroduce the condition of terminality, we argued that the legislation as written was effectively legalizing euthanasia by omission. Some legislators believed that we were being alarmist. They thought that because physician-assisted suicide was not legal in Colorado, nor explicitly legalized by the proposed legislation, we had nothing to fear. We said we thought this was short-sighted, that groups like Compassion & Choices would find fertile soil in the law for advancing its aims. Most were unconvinced.

On August 17, 2011, Compassion & Choices (CC) launched a nation-wide public education campaign entitled "Peace at Life's End â€" Anywhere." The euphemism means "legal self-killing anywhere in the U.S." (The press conference was held in Denver, Colorado!) The central purpose, indeed the sole purpose of the campaign is to tell people everywhere that they can kill themselves legally anywhere in the U.S.; all they've got to do is to refuse life-support, in particular food and water. The Web site reads:

One method of peaceful dyingâ€¦universally available, legal, safe, painless and suitable for a gentle parting in one's own homeâ€¦is the purposeful refusal of food and fluids, in medical jargon known as voluntarily stopping eating and drinking (VSED).

"VSED," its press release stated, "is a legally recognized option for mentally competent adults who wish to end their suffering." And best of all, "it requires no special laws or regulations. VSED is legal -- for patients and their caregivers -- today, in every state."

The POLST document is not a precondition for the success of CC's campaign. Any living will that permits the removal of food and water would be adequate. But the new document sure helps.

If the POLST model is not already legally recognized in your state, five to one chance that legislation is being drafted at your state house as we speak. You might call your legislator and find out.

Here is a piece from ZeroHedge.com that hopefully will make you all understand, once and for all, that this ain't the 1930's, and that there is absolutely no way in hell that this Republic is going to make it to November 2012.

Summary: The five largest banks in the U.S. (JP Morgan Chase, Citibank, Bank of America, Goldman Sachs and HSBC) are carrying $238 TRILLION dollars in derivative exposure. JP Morgan alone is carrying $78 TRILLION in derivative exposure BY ITSELF.

Okay, what the hell is derivative exposure? What this is referring to are over-the-counter non-exchange traded forward delivery (or "futures") contracts of various kinds. I am a futures broker, but I only execute futures contracts on the futures exchanges, namely the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and the New York Mercantile Exchange. About ten years ago a new "novelty" emerged in the futures business - the so-called "over-the-counter" contracts. There was a kid in the office I worked in who got wind of this and had all kinds of stars in his eyes about making a killing off of these "OTC" contracts because the brokers' commissions were not a flat fee but a percent of the contract value. Here's the problem with OTC contracts: there is no exchange standing between the buyer and seller as a guarantor.

In my business, when a customer executes a trade on a futures or options contract, it makes no difference who the other guy is on the other side of the trade, be it executed electronically or in the pit. None of us have to worry for a second about the counterparty on our executions because the EXCHANGE ITSELF stands between ALL transactions as the ultimate guarantor. The exchange then enforces the financial requirement rules with the Clearing Houses, the Clearing Houses enforce the financial requirement rules with the brokers, and the brokers enforce the financial requirement rules with the customers. That is the chain of financial responsibility. So, even if a customer bugs out and fails to financially perform on a contract, the contract WILL BE MADE GOOD by extracting the money from the broker, then the Clearing House and finally the Exchange. This massive enforcement buffering is what gives the system integrity.

OTC contracts have no exchange. They are a flipping free-for-all. If someone bugs out on a contract, the poop hits the fan. The counterparty has their pants around their ankles and the broker is caught in the middle. That's why when that kid in my office years ago got all starry-eyed, I thought to myself, "I wouldn't do that OTC crap if you put a gun to my head - no matter what the commissions were. It would be Russian Roulette. Eventually someone would default and it would financially destroy the broker instantly, and perhaps the counterparty as well."

Let's take my business - cattle futures. One contract is 40,000 pounds of live cattle. The spot contract settled at $119.725 per hundred pounds today. So, 40,000 pounds X $1.19725 (shift the decimal) = $47,890 total value of the contract. Since this is an exchange traded instrument, the customer doesn't really don't have to worry about default and can go ahead and book that $47,890 today, and it will be offset at a later time, and the net of the entry and exit will be the P&L. The contract isn't going to default, so the derivative exposure is limited.

Okay. These banks are carrying these OTC futures contracts with NO exchange to guarantee anything. And they are carrying these contracts largely WITH EACH OTHER. So JP Morgan might be the long and Goldman Sachs, or some insolvent bank in Europe is the short on the other side. If these banks default, which is now a mathematical certainty because they are not only insolvent, but insolvent multiple times over and there isn't enough money in the world to bail them out, there is going to be a cascading default on all of these OTC contracts.

Now look at the value and exposure of these OTC derivatives again: the top 5 banks in the US alone have exposure of $238 TRILLION dollars.

The total GDP of the United States is $14.5 Trillion.

The total GDP of China is $6 Trillion.

The total land mass on earth is 36.8 billion acres. If every acre of land on earth was "sold" for $6467 per acre, that would total $238 Trillion.

JP Morgan BY ITSELF has derivative exposure equal to over FIVE TIMES the value of the entire US GDP.

And no, there will not be a 1:1 offsetting in a collapse, because the collapse will be asymmetrical, and the bankrupt party will first pursue FULL payment on its "longs" (think of these as accounts receivables) while its "shorts" (accounts payable) will only pay out 20 cents on the dollar OR LESS. In other words, these entities will tear each other apart in a mad dogfight and this dogfight will take the entire world down with it.

TWO HUNDRED AND THIRTY-EIGHT TRILLION DOLLARS.

AND THAT IS JUST FIVE BANKS.

AND THE MASSIVELY CORRUPT AND INCOMPETENT SECURITIES REGULATORS, BOTH GOVERNMENTAL AND PRIVATE, SAT BY AND WATCHED THIS HAPPEN. That is what happens when you let a group of criminals run a bureaucracy of affirmative action hires to "audit" the financial industry. WASHINGTON - The Obama administration Monday cleared the way for the Supreme Court to decide in its 2011-12 term the president's signature healthcare law that requires Americans to buy insurance or face a penalty.

A Justice Department spokeswoman said it decided against asking the full U.S. Appeals Court for the 11th Circuit to review the August ruling by a three-judge panel of the court that found the requirement unconstitutional.

The decision not to seek review by the full appeals court will likely speed up consideration of the matter by the high court in its 2011-12 term that begins next week. A ruling could come by late June, in the middle of the presidential campaign.

The Supreme Court has long been expected to have the final word on the legality of the individual mandate, a cornerstone of President Barack Obama's healthcare law. A big uncertainty has been over when the court would decide the issue.

The law's fate before the nine-member court, closely divided with a conservative majority and four liberals, could come down to two Republican appointees, Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Anthony Kennedy, legal experts have said.

The law, adopted by Congress in 2010 after a bruising battle, is expected to be a major political issue in the 2012 elections as Obama seeks another four-year term. All the major Republican presidential candidates oppose it.

Obama, a Democrat, has championed the individual mandate as a major accomplishment of his presidency and as a way to try to slow soaring healthcare costs while expanding coverage to the more than 30 million Americans without it.

The 11th Circuit appeals court, based in Atlanta, ruled by a 2-1 vote last month in favor of 26 states and others who challenged the mandate for exceeding the power of Congress.

The Obama administration could have asked the full U.S. 11th Circuit Court of Appeals to reconsider its decision. But that could have pushed back any Supreme Court ruling to its 2012-13 term.

The 2-1 ruling ruling conflicted with other appeals courts that have upheld the law or have rejected legal challenges, including a lawsuit by the state of Virginia which was dismissed on procedural grounds.

A U.S. appeals court based in Cincinnati ruled Congress had the power to adopt the individual mandate, which takes effect in 2014. The losing side in that case, the Thomas More Law Center, already appealed to the Supreme Court in July.

The administration has steadfastly maintained its belief that the law will survive judicial scrutiny and be upheld by the Supreme Court. The states that have challenged the law have argued it went beyond Congress' authority to require coverage.

According to experts in a story on Politico, the Supreme Court has several reasons to take up the case. It's a high-profile case with the request coming from the government; there have been split decisions between appeals courts, specificically, the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the mandate, while the 11th Circuit ruled it unconstitutional and the 4th Circuit ruled it could not issue a decision until 2014.

A decision in the middle of the 2012 presidential campaign has huge risks for the president, with a ruling either way galvanizing both parties.

The Justice Department did not explain its decision to go straight to the high court, but the 11th Circuit has only five of 11 judges appointed by Democrats and one them has already ruled to strike down the mandate.

if it came with a Speaker and an Ear Bud / Headphone. I was told

In late May, Yvonne, a six-year-old slaughter-bound cow, escaped from a German farm and ran for her life.

In her quest for freedom, she spent nearly 100 days hiding in the forests of Bavaria. Garnering international attention, she eluded capture by police, farmers, countless good samaritans and animal advocates, and hunters (until authorities called off the "hunt"). Some joined the search in hopes of taking home a $14,500 reward offered by Bild, a German tabloid. A radio station rented a helicopter equipped with thermal imaging cameras, animal advocates tried to lure her with a bull ox, her sister, and her son while animal psychics attempted to talk with her -- all to no avail.

Against the odds, Yvonne, who had been just days away from slaughter when she bolted from the farm, had escaped a certain death. She was determined to preserve her newfound freedom -- and her life.

According to the Guardian, after more than three months on the run, Yvonne is now safe at Gut Aiderbichl, a nearby animal sanctuary. She was finally caught by an area farmer who said Yvonne wandered into his meadow to befriend his cows, and he managed to coax her into a fenced field. She didn't give up that easily though. Her spirited resistance required the assistance of tranquilizers to safely transport her to the sanctuary where she has been reunited with her rescued son and her sister.

Drug Use Now Kills More People Than Traffic Accidents [Study]

In 1979 the U.S. Government began tracking drug-related deaths and for the first time those deaths have surpassed the number of traffic fatalities on an annual basis.

The most recent statistics which were taken in 2009 shows that 37,485 people died in traffic related accidents while 36,284 people died from drug related activities in a one year period.

Surprisingly the main culprit of those deaths were not street illegal drugs but rather prescription options including Xanax, OxyContin and the main culprit Vicodin which killed more people than cocaine and heroin combined.

Speaking to the Los Angeles Times a Santa Barbara sheriff said:

“The problem is right here under our noses in our medicine cabinets.”

The study also revealed that traffic related fatalities have actually fallen by a third since the 1970s even as the number of drivers using American roadways continues to increase, while drug related deaths have doubled in the last decade. Deaths among the 50-year-old to 69-year-old crowd have been even worse, tripling during the same time period.

Not all deaths have been related to drug overdoses from drug abuse, in many cases accidental double dosing by adults has been the culprit.

When asked how drug related deaths can be reduced one researcher said:

“What’s really scary is we don’t know a lot about how to reduce prescription deaths,” while adding, “It’s a wonderful medical advancement that we can treat pain, but we haven’t figured out the safety belt yet.”

In the meantime parents are urged to speak with their kids not just about street illegal drugs but also the medications found in medicine cabinets which can be just as addictive and just as deadly.

Obama unveiled his new plan to fund his socialist empire. He wants $1.5 Trillion in new taxes and a reduction in the social security and medicare benefits for the people who spent a lifetime paying into these funds. All while Social Security and Medicare funds are looted and given to welfare recipients and illegal aliens who never even paid into it.

President Barack Obama will propose $1.5 trillion in new taxes as part of a plan to identify more than $3 trillion in long-term deficit reduction and slow the nation's escalating national debt.

Obama's tax plan is aimed predominantly at the wealthy and draws sharp contrasts with congressional Republicans.

It comes just days after House Speaker John Boehner ruled out tax increases to lower deficits. It also comes amid a clamor in his own Democratic Party for Obama to take a tougher stance against Republicans. And while the plan stands little chance of passing Congress, its populist pitch is one that the White House believes the public can support.

The core of the president's plan totals just more than $2 trillion in deficit reduction over 10 years. It combines the new taxes with $580 billion in cuts to mandatory benefit programs, including $248 billion from Medicare.

The administration also counts savings of $1 trillion over 10 years from the withdrawal of troops from Iraq and Afghanistan.

(NaturalNews) Anyone who has been affected by dementia or who has watched a loved one live with this condition can attest that this is perhaps one of most frightening diseases in the world. Dementia can be a symptom of a specific disease like Alzheimer`s disease, but many feel that dementia is not a symptom but "the disease" itself. While frightening, dementia is completely reversible.

Diet Affects Dementia:

A lower risk of dementia has been associated with a diet that includes vegetables, fruits, fish and lots of omega-3-fatty acids. Doctor Catherine Kousimine (a close associate of Dr. Johanna Budwig) stated that detoxification is accomplished by eating a healthy diet. Her guidelines included: no animal products, sugar,alcohol and fat. She did stress the importance of organic fruits, nuts, seeds, wheats and vegetables.

Dr. Kousimine was most noted for her "Kousimine-Budwig Detox Breakfast" which greatly helps patients with all diseases.

The following recipe is adapted from Dr. Kousimine`s original recipe:

1/4 cup of yogurt
1.5 tablespoons of ground flax seeds
1 banana
1 additional fruit
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 tablespoon of homemade granola

Grind the flax seeds right before preparing this recipe, as flax seeds should be used within ten minutes of grinding. Mix the yogurt and flax seeds together. Mash the banana in a bowl and then mix the banana into the yogurt mixture. Add in an additional fruit such as peaches, pears or strawberries. Add in the lemon juice and the granola and enjoy for breakfast or anytime of the day.

Note: The diet from Dr Catherine Kousmine has 5 principles. It starts with a healthy diet and a healthy colon. She recommended intestinal cleanses, enemas and colon cleansing. Bath Detoxing must be used in conjunction with the protocol.

Bath Detox Using Epsom Salts

1 cup of Epsom salts
1 cup of sea salts
1 cup of baking soda

Mix all the ingredients together and place in a sealed jar. Fill the bathtub with water as hot as you can stand and add in 1/4 cup of the Epsom salts mixture. Relax in the bathtub for 30 minutes and then wrap yourself in a warm blanket for approximately 20 minutes more. This will draw out the toxins from your system and leave your body feeling refreshed.

Alternative Bath Detox Using the Friction Method :

Louis Kuhne of Leipzig created a friction water bath to heal many diseases. It involved taking two steam baths per week (15-30 minutes) and then 1-3 hip baths daily. The water temperature should be approximately 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Vigorous friction is created for 15-20 minutes using a linen cloth. Following the bath, the patient must be warmed with exercise. If the patient is too weak, sleeping after the bath is the next best option.

A February 2005 study on mice examined the impact of diet on Alzheimer`s disease. The FJ Express study`s researchers found that when they reduced the calories and limited carbohydrates, plaque did not form in the brains of the mice. The findings showed that a reduced calorie diet which had a limit on the amount of carbohydrates, resulted in a remarkable measure of disease prevention.

It`s also been found that dementia patients respond well to drinking green tea. Research involving 1000 Japanese adults revealed that adults who regularly drank green tea had a lower risk of developing dementia. In addition, adults already exhibiting dementia symptoms saw improvements after drinking two cups of rosemary tea per day. Results were seen in as little as one month.

(NaturalNews) Natural methods can be used to avoid or improve dementia symptoms. Part I examined how diet plays a key role in improving the symptoms of dementia, but diet is only the first step in avoiding or treating dementia.

Removal of Gas Appliances:

There is some evidence to suggest that fossil fuel-powered appliances can worsen the symptoms of dementia.

According Dr. Theron Randolph, "If the patient's family is unwilling to exchange the entire fossil fuel heating system - I mean fuel pipes, heat ducts, everything, every single part must go - for an electric stove and baseboard heat, or a heat pump air exchanger, the patient will not recover."

Switching to electric heat, cooking with an electric stove and using an electric water heater can lead to improvement in dementia symptoms.

- A way to get rid of dead flukes stuck in your system is to juice an entire pineapple (including the core) and drink the juice all at once.

- Place one teaspoon of nigella sativa seeds in a pan with 1 tablespoon of vinegar. Heat to boiling and then cool to a warm temperature. With a pastry brush, paint on your stomach and liver area before sleeping. Do not wash off.

Steps for Immediate Relief of Brain Fog:

1. Before sleeping take 1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil mixed with the juice of one lemon.

6. Follow the diet of Dr. Catherine Kousimine in Part I with no more than one cooked meal a day.
7. Also get plenty of sunshine; eat no packaged or processed foods and avoid all pharmaceutical medicines.

Dear Friends:  By the summer of 2000 I knew that (1) what I had learned about the critical importance of correcting gut biology and (2) the need for an adequate therapeutic dose of broad based free form amino acids in order to properly chemically correct a state of depression had the power to topple the pharmaceutical drug industry.  At this point I knew that if I further developed the above mentioned knowledge and spread it all over the Internet these actions were almost certainly going to get me killed at one point or another.  (I also knew that if I remained silent in regard to what I had learned that I personally was going to be OK.)  In the summer of 2000, I was faced with a tough choice.  It was either "lose my morality and my soul, or lose my life".  I made the decision to take "the Jesus road" and willingly act in a manner in which I was ultimately going to die for the sake of the health of the human race.  For six years nothing untoward happened to me, in part due to the fact that the world was not ready for what I had to say.  (New discovery typically takes decades to become recognized.)  However, as soon as I posted my son Willy's original ADHD/bipolar recovery story to the Internet in June 2006 things began to change.  Beginning in June 2006 Big Pharma, or some portion thereof, instituted a five pronged attack (as follows) against what my son Willy Darman and I had discovered in regard to the use of nutritional and natural supplements to correct a lack of physical and mental health.  (1) Every computer that I have used since June 2006 for any length of time has been monitored, hacked, and/or intentionally disrupted.  This includes six or seven different personal computers of my own, three computers of family members, computers in a public library near me, and computers in a college library near me as well.  It also includes the laptop computer that I am working with now.  (2) There have been numerous anti-supplement and/or supplement restrictive laws proposed in Congress. (Thankfully, none of these have passed, to the best of my knowledge.)  (3) There have been two attempts by the FDA to restrict the general public's access to and/or unnecessarily over-regulate dietary supplements.  The first attempt occurred in 2007, and attempted to label ALL nutritional and natural supplements as "drugs".  (I am convinced this first attempt was motivated by panic at what my son Willy and I had discovered.)  The second attempt is a current threat to all nutritional and dietary supplements that have come on the market since October 15, 1994.  (4) Since it was discovered that Willy's Baggie of synergistic nutritional and natural supplements also works in regard to quickly resolving the hallmark schizophrenic symptom commonly called "hearing voices" in 2009 all of my cell phone use has been monitored, hacked, and/or intentionally disrupted.  (5) Beginning on January 6, 2010 there have been numerous attempts to take my life.  (I should have been dead at least a dozen times since then in four distinct episodes intended on killing me in order to silence me.)  Now that I solidly know that mental illnesses such as depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia are complex malabsorptive/allergic/toxic/bad biological syndromes that can be corrected (cured!) via natural means, the general public in the United States is about to lose critical access to the nutritional and natural supplements that can cure the same.  The FDA is currently in the process of trying to (over)regulate all nutritional supplements that have come upon the free market since October 15, 1994. In the first Yahoo group that I posted this blog to the above link was obviously and intentionally corrupted by hackers to not work.***  Once the FDA succeeds in their current agenda to control key nutritional supplements, no natural and nutritional cure for depression or any other mental illness will ever be realized by the general public.  (Most, if not virtually all, of these cures have already been found.)  If "we the people" somehow get lucky and stop the FDA this time, it will not matter.  It will not matter because Big Pharma and the FDA will try again and again until they succeed in doing what they intend to do in regard to taking powerful healing nutritional and natural supplements out of the general public's hands.  This situation saddens me.  It saddens me because:  (1) I spent years trying to find the proper natural manner to cure depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia.  Despite the fact that I succeeded "in spades" in achieving all four of these goals, my discoveries will become buried by Big Pharma (via their FDA puppets) changing the law.  (2) The fraud of drug oriented medicine is compromising the health of hundreds of millions of people worldwide.  (It is not just ALL psychiatric medications that are a hoax.  Cholesterol medications are a hoax, blood pressure medications are a hoax, acid reflux medications are a hoax, arthritis medications are a hoax, allergy medications are a hoax, asthma medications are a hoax, cancer (chemotherapy) medications are a hoax, diuretics are a hoax, heart medications are a hoax, antibiotics are a hoax, etc.)  (3) The fraud of drug oriented medicine is bankrupting the United States, if it has not done so already.  For the past handful of years I had hoped to do more for the world in regard to stopping the evil agenda of Big Pharma and their stooges in the FDA (and other governmental bodies). Unfortunately, I never found either enough willing collaborators or adequate fiscal means to prove what I know to be true about curing depression and mental illness before it became "legally too late".  I did what I could for these past twenty one months, while defending myself against death again and again and again and again.  Now I can only pray that some greater power than I intervenes to help the human race. IRVINE, California, September 15, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) â€" Women on the birth control pill are less likely to retain factual details in memories of emotional events, according to new University of California, Irvine (UCI) research.

â€œWhatâ€™s most exciting about this study is that it shows the use of hormonal contraception alters memory,â€ UCI graduate researcher Shawn Nielsen said.

In the study, which appears in the September issue of the journal Neurobiology of Learning and Memory, groups of women either on the pill or experiencing natural hormonal cycles were shown photographs of a mother, her son, and a car accident. Some in each group were told the car had hit a curb, while others were told the car had hit the boy and critically injured him.

One week later, all were given surprise tests about what they recalled. Women not using hormonal contraceptives remembered more details, such as a fire hydrant next to the car, than women on the pill for as little as one month. Women on the pill remembered more clearly the â€œgistâ€ of the event, that there had been an accident, that the boy had been rushed to the hospital, and that doctors worked to save his life and successfully reattached both his feet.

The change makes sense, said Nielsen, who co-authored the publication with UCI neurobiologist Larry Cahill, because contraceptives suppress sex hormones such as estrogen and progesterone to prevent pregnancy. Those hormones have previously been linked to womenâ€™s strong â€œleft brainâ€ memory.

Nielsen said that only a handful of studies currently examine the cognitive effects of the pill, which is used by an estimated 100 million women around the world.

â€œItâ€™s a change in the type of information they remember, not a deficit,â€ she said.

Pauline Maki, professor of psychiatry and psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and a specialist in memory and brain functioning, noted that Cahill is known as an expert for researching â€œlinking sex to memory.â€

â€œThe fact that women on oral contraceptives remembered different elements of a story tells us that estrogen has an influence on how women remember emotional events,â€ she said.

Nielsen said that the findings, which were made possible by National Institute of Mental Health funding, could help lead to answers about why women experience post traumatic stress syndrome more frequently than men, and how men remember differently than women.

According to the UCI press release, men typically rely more on right-hemisphere brain activity to encode memory. They retain the gist of things better than details. Women on the pill, who have lower levels of hormones associated with female reproduction, may remember emotional events similarly to men.

Other side effects pointed out by critics against the popular drug are less benign: the pill has been classed a Group 1 carcinogen, or a â€œdefiniteâ€ cause of cancer, by the World Health Organization for its effect on breast cancer risk.

Thousands of home owners and business owners, many REALTORS® among them, were devastated by recent flooding in New England and the Mid-Atlantic. Hurricane Irene highlighted the fact that flooding hits every corner of America. The unique weather pattern of this storm created more flooding in the mountains than it did along the coast. Even small towns as far inland as Vermont were deluged, turning small creeks into raging rivers that devastated communities and took the life of a REALTOR® in Ludlow, Vermont.

As fellow REALTOR® Kevin Sears reminds us in his video message, the only way that a home owner can acquire a federally backed mortgage in over 21,000 communities is through the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). There is virtually no private insurance market and standard home owner policies do not cover flood damage. Housing markets in many areas will come to a complete standstill unless this program gets reauthorized. Also, existing home owners whose mortgage requires them to have flood insurance may find themselves in default if the program lapses and they are unable to renew their policies before the 30-day grace period ends. Banks will not lend without a policy in place and the program cannot issue a flood policy without renewing the Congressional authority. This is why we need you to send a letter to Congress urging them to reauthorize the National Flood Insurance Program.

Without this insurance program more of the burden for the cleanup from a flood falls to tax payers in the form of federal post-disaster assistance. More hurricanes are already on the horizon and forecasts predict this to be a busy storm season. Combined with record rainfall and snow melt, flood disasters have also been declared all across the Midwest. We can expect to see more of the same just about everywhere. This program must be in place to help keep already fragile markets moving on the eastern seaboard and beyond.

Now that Congress has returned it is not certain if they will take up this important bill before the program authority to issue flood insurance expires on September 30th. Congress needs to act sooner rather than later, so it is with urgency that we ask you to send a letter to your Senators today asking that they reauthorize the National Flood Insurance Program quickly.

The medical profession always wants to do surgery or burns or something disfiguring. I squeezed mine very firmly.
