Immunity from Black Plague linked to Immunity to HIV
Researchers have recently found an interesting group of people that are either partially or completely immune to HIV. A gene mutation that has been passed down since the time of the Black Plague in the 1600s makes people now immune to the virus that causes AIDS. Cool Stuff! (Submitted by liquidsgi)
