[MedicalConspiracies] Gun control is still on the agenda and nobody is even talking about it

Dear Jan,

I'm worried.  Have you heard the news?

Gun control is still on the agenda in Congress, and nobody is even talking about going on the offensive.

After the results of the 2010 elections, many party "patriots" are letting their guard down because they're foolishly hoping that "everything will be fine."

"Hope" is not a plan.

Anti-gun ally Barack Obama STILL occupies the White House and anti-gunners are STILL in control of the U.S. Senate.

And anti-gunners like Sarah Brady and BILLIONAIRE New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg couldn't care less about who controls the House.

The number-one item on their agenda -- the so-called "U.N. Small Arms Treaty" -- doesn't even need to pass the House for ratification!

That's why I'm counting on your IMMEDIATE support.

You see, many times, grassroots warriors like you are the ONLY thing standing between the gun-grabbers and even more assaults on our Second Amendment rights -- and we are the ONLY ones who can push politicians to go on the offensive.

So I'm not going to mince words.

I'm asking you point-blank today to renew your 2011 National Association for Gun Rights membership.

The truth is, despite the results of the 2010 elections, the gun-grabbers would still love nothing more than to ram through even more anti-gun legislation.

Whether it's gun registration and confiscation schemes like H.R. 45 and the U.N.'s so-called "Small Arms Treaty," or an outright ban on certain kinds of weapons -- or even classifying gun owners as "domestic terrorists" -- you and I can't afford to take anything for granted.

After all, the gun control crowd knows just because Nancy Pelosi isn't calling the shots in the House any more, that doesn't mean they can't cobble enough anti-gun votes together for a "bipartisan" anti-gun power grab or two -- especially after some high-profile shootings!

Just as bad, the old "establishment GOP" still holds tremendous sway in the U.S. Senate.

You know the types -- Olympia Snowe (R-ME), Susan Collins (R-ME), John McCain (R-AZ), Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) -- there's simply too many to list.

Do you trust them to stand up for our Second Amendment rights when they start to feel the heat from Sarah Brady and Michael Bloomberg's billions and Obama's bipartisan deals?

I know I don't.  You and I can't afford to let our guard down!

Instead, we need to go on the OFFENSIVE and begin rolling back gun control schemes already in place.

The truth is, many newly-elected representatives ran on pro-gun platforms and made pro-gun pledges when running for office last year.

It's up to you and me to hold them to their promises by working hard to:

*** Repeal and/or defund the DANGEROUS ID bill.  Now that 25 states have refused to abide by the provisions of DANGEROUS ID, it's time for the next step -- full federal repeal;

*** Rein in the out-of-control BATFE which has seemingly made its number-one mission harassing gun store owners into shutting their doors and intimidating law-abiding gun owners in recent years;

*** Repeal the so-called "Brady Bill," which is almost certainly being used to create a federal gun registration database if you and I don't start working to repeal the scheme;"

And I haven't begun to talk about our legal fights yet.

You see, over the past few years, the National Association for Gun Rights has also begun to wade into the legal fray to advance gun rights.

If I get your help, our amicus brief in the MacDonald v. Chicago -- which helped lead to the U.S. Supreme Court's decision to strike down Chicago's draconian gun ban -- will be just the tip of the iceberg.

You see, I believe gun owners need to continue to push the legal envelope against anti-gun city regulations and intrusive, unconstitutional state and federal gun control laws.

But after the 2010 election year, I simply don't have the funds to do everything that MUST be done.

I hate to put it so bluntly, but NAGR's 2011 membership drive will make the difference between us being there fighting for gun rights on every front, or having to pick which battles we just can't afford to fight.

With President Obama still in the White House and the gun-grabbers calling the shots in the Senate, I'm not taking anything for granted.

I'm writing you this letter because I'm convinced grassroots warriors like you could be the only thing standing in the way of Sarah Brady's lapdogs in the White House and Congress.

The National Association for Gun Rights is one of the very few groups in America that opposes gun control at every turn and is dedicated to doing everything possible to restore our gun rights.

In short, we will make the gun-grabbers pay for every inch they attempt to take. It is time to take some rights back.

We're not going to cut deals in smoke-filled rooms.  There will be NO COMPROMISE.

Instead, our plan is to draw a line in the sand, and hold politicians accountable for every vote and every assault on our right to keep and bear arms.

The truth is, we can't afford to let the anti-gun lobby -- with their multi-million dollar legislative coffers and six figure salary fat-cat executives -- run the show.

And we can't give up the fight and just assume "everything will be ok."

You and I know what that brings:  More gun control.

The sad truth is, once a right is lost, it's much harder to reclaim.

That's why I'm asking you to dig deep and renew your National Association for Gun Rights membership.

After the past two years of fighting back against assault after assault on our Second Amendment rights, I can't stomach the thought of losing now ... or missing the chance to go on offense.

But the gun-grabbers aren't giving up.

They're going to do everything they can to ratify their so called "U.N. Small Arms Treaty," and ram countless other anti gun schemes into law.  And they say repealing gun control is DOA.

That's why I'm counting on you.

Whatever renewal level you choose is up to you, but please let me know today that you have decided to renew your 2011 membership in the National Association for Gun Rights.

Thank you, in advance, for renewing your membership with the National Association for Gun Rights.

For liberty,

Dudley Brown
Executive Director
National Association for Gun Rights

P.S. Gun-grabbers aren't giving up.

In fact, the "U.N. Small Arms Treaty" -- which doesn't even need U.S. House approval to be ratified -- is on the top of their agenda and they insist any attempt to go on offense is DOA.

Unfortunately, after all the battles we've fought over these past two years, as it stands today, we just can't afford to fight everything the gun-grabbers are throwing at us AND prove it is time to roll-back gun control.

So I'm asking you to take a stand today by renewing your membership in the National Association for Gun Rights, and if at all possible, increasing your membership renewal contribution.
