The February instalment of the Astronomy Ireland TV Show on City Channel's 'The Evening Show' will air this Wednesday, February 17th at 7pm and 9pm and again on Thursday, February 18th at 8am and 11am. This month, Astronomy Ireland Chairman, David Moore, will be speaking about the huge fireball seen over Ireland on February 3rd, Mars and the Moon, our 20th anniversary membership offer, as well as giving expert advise on telescopes. If you don't get to see the show on Wednesday or Thursday, don't worry - it is repeated on Saturday, February 20th at 8pm as part of the shows omnibus. there was the another story on the net about something - meteorite/space debris supposedly seen over Mexico this week with an impact heard but not found
and
I hadn't heard about an "huge fireball over Ireland" til i got this Irish Astronomy newsletter .. seems the sky has been busy all over ... crg
