I am offended that you would pass this whitewash of the NRA off to your supporters as truth. I talked with the NRA after this scandal a couple of days ago, and I am on the list of several other political orgs. who send me the news, so I get updates and accurate news. The NRA is covering their a… They made a deal with Pelosi and Reid to back their DISCLOSE Act, and that is a travesty and violation of our first amendment rights of free speech. Plain and simple.
When I called NRA to voice my disgust, I spoke with one of their men. He said like they were only watching out for themselves and not for the conservative viewpoint. The gentleman I spoke with said something to the effect that they didn’t want to “go down with the sinking ship.” That’s what they really think. They are covering their own butts and hoping to last longer making a deal with the devil. They threw everyone else under the bus. As in Hitler’s day, the political powers that be will divide and conquer us one group at a time. The NRA cannot stand against them alone, but they think they can survive longer that way. I for one, refuse to go along with it. All conservatives must stand together against all attackers of our first and second amendment rights, not just for one group, but for all.
NRA is no better than AARP, who sold seniors down the road so they could benefit from the healthcare plan. I am disgusted with you that you would send this out as truth. All they really care about is their DUES and their influence and their jobs.
