my story-struggles with anxiety

A panic attack can be very hard to deal with. I know from personal
experience that it is not easy to hide the shame you feel from having
it. Even though you feel that shame, it is important to seek medical
attention if it gets worse. In my quest for relief I have tried to
find ways to ease my anxiety through means other than medicine. A
doctor may think they know what is best for you, but only you truly
know It has not been easy. I have some information on my blog that
includes my personal experience if you feel like reading it. I would
completely suggest it.

To prevent future attacks it's important to be proactive. Let your
loved ones know what you are dealing with so you can get the support
you need. One phrase I use with my girlfriend is, "there's no problem
too big we can't solve". That goes for anxiety or any other problem. I
know that sounds easy, but if you really want relief, you have to plan
for it. One technique I use is to count while I'm in an elevator; it
helps get my mind off of it. I also stay away from coffee and other
sugary drinks.
