there is an irony now in the land of the free. because: what can anyone DO about this huge problem?
i watched a commercial from a major car manufacturer that made fun of a sustainable energy activist.
the jist of the commercial was that such protestors were vain. i have participated in a few protests post 1969,
and i have thought that people were tricked into doing something almost useless...
it seems that Americans almost have LESS freedom than others -- because we are tricked into relying so heavily on our System -
when something that is a real challenge comes up, we are powerless to do anything but complain to the Powers that Be -- and when such Powers
were the CAUSE of the problem, well...?
