The British Medical Journal recently came out with a study done on
Statin drugs that are used to lower cholesterol. The study confirmed
that these drugs do have the effect of reducing the risk of heart
disease and esophageal cancer they also found that other claims being
made about the benefit of these drugs are presently unsupported. The
concerning news from this study is that it found these drugs also
cause muscle weakness, cataracts, liver dysfunction and kidney
failure.
