(Unsubscribe instructions at bottom) Dear NaturalNews readers, As the dreadful truth about the Fukushima catastrophe slowly unfolds, it turns out this disaster is far worse than we were ever told.
For starters, the total radiation ultimately released from Fukushima may soon surpass that of Chernobyl. Reactors No. 2 and 3 are still out of control, with pumps not working and radiation levels too high to allow workers to even function there. (So how are they supposed to repair the coolant pumps, anyway?)
P.S. Coming soon: More details about the class action lawsuit against a large cereal company, an interview with Gov. Jesse Ventura about his new book, and more news about GMOs (stay tuned to NaturalNews for all sorts of exciting breaking news throughout April...)
More news continues below on strategies for taking iodine, what to do after being diagnosed with cancer, using zeolites for detoxification, and much more (see below)...

The following message is from SFU Health & Counselling Services:
Officials and researchers are studying the global effects of the Japanese nuclear power plant incident. This includes constantly monitoring radiation levels in the Lower Mainland, British Columbia and across Canada. SFU as well is involved in research with regards to levels of isotopes in local rainwater and seaweed.
It is important to note that the very small levels of radioactive iodine-131 that have been reported in BC impose NO increased health risk to British Columbians, according to health officials and experts.
Dr. Perry Kendall, BC's provincial health officer, says clearly: "I would say that the levels that we are finding are very small, barely above background (normal radiation levels) and it does take very sophisticated instrumentation to detect them. And there is no health risk for this level of increased background radiation."
The BC Centre for Disease Control, the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission, the provincial health officer and other experts are monitoring the situation and DO NOT recommend any medical or personal action in BC. Of concern to the officials, though, are people causing themselves harm through inappropriate and dangerous self-medication.
If anyone has serious concerns about their health and risk it is advisable to contact HealthLink BC (simply dial 8-1-1) to discuss with a nurse, or visit your family physician.
